Know they're okay, every day.
Your mum taps one big button each morning. You get peace of mind, and a gentle alert if something seems wrong.
Private by design. No pendants, no contracts. Launching on Android first.
How it works
Set up in five minutes, together, the next time you visit, or over a phone call.
Create a family circle
Install CareNod and invite your parent with a short code. Brothers and sisters can join too.
They nod once a day
A friendly reminder each morning. One tap on "I'm OK" lets everyone know they're fine.
You're told if something's wrong
No check-in, an SOS, a missed medicine: the family gets a calm, clear alert straight away.
Simple for them. Reassuring for you.
Big buttons and clear words for your parent. Clear answers for the family.
Daily check-in
One big "I'm OK" button. If it isn't pressed by their usual time, the family is alerted.
SOS, with location
Press and hold to alert everyone at once, with where they are. It can't go off by accident.
Medicine reminders
Reminders on their phone, and a heads-up for you if a dose is missed.
Location, only if they agree
Your parent decides whether to share their location, and can switch it off at any time.
The whole family
Siblings share the same circle, see who's on it, and can tap "I'm on it" so nobody panics twice.
Private by design
Stored in the EU, never sold. Location history deletes itself after 30 days.
Pricing
Check-ins and SOS are free, always. Premium adds more for the whole family, on one subscription.

Questions families ask
Is this a way to track my parent?
No. CareNod is built around a daily nod, not surveillance. Your parent installs it themselves (or with you), can see exactly what is shared, and decides whether to share their location at all. A notification is always showing while location is shared.
Is CareNod an emergency service?
No. CareNod alerts your family, not the emergency services. In an emergency, always call your local emergency number. CareNod shows a "Call emergency services" button for exactly this.
What phone does my parent need?
We're launching on Android (version 7 or newer). iPhone is coming next. Family members can also follow along from a web browser.
What happens if they forget to check in?
Their phone reminds them when their check-in window opens, and again shortly before it closes. If they still haven't checked in, the family gets an alert so someone can give them a call.
Who can see my parent's information?
Only the people in your family circle. We store data in the EU, never sell it, and delete location history automatically after 30 days. Anyone can download or delete their data from the app. See our privacy policy.
