Delete your CareNod account

CareNod is made by Fourteen Labs. You can delete your account and data at any time, free of charge.

Option 1: in the app (immediate)

1. Open CareNod and tap the Settings (gear) icon.
2. Scroll down and tap Delete my account.
3. Confirm. Your account is deleted straight away and you are signed out.

Option 2: by email (if you no longer have the app)

Email privacy@carenod.com from the email address you use to sign in to CareNod, with the subject "Delete my CareNod account". We'll confirm the request and delete your account within 30 days, usually much sooner.

What is deleted

• Your account, name, email address and settings
• Your check-ins, SOS history, location history, battery and phone status
• Your medicines and dose history, if you used medicine reminders
• Your membership of family circles. Circles you created are deleted if nobody else is left in them.
• Your notification tokens, and your customer record at our subscription provider

What is kept, and for how long

• Encrypted backups are overwritten on a rolling basis, within 7 days.
• Purchase records held by Google Play are kept by Google under its own policies. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription: cancel it in the Google Play Store first.
